And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee. And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee. The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Why do feminists support wearing hikabs and burkhas?

1 min read

Why do feminists in particular and the left, in general, love them some Hijab, Burkha, female walking two steps behind their men, women can't go out in public alone without male family escort Islam?

A: Because the hatred of Christianity is so white-hot intense among feminists and the left that they would temporarily support all of the above if it only meant the promise that Christianity would be wiped out in the West.

Reformed Two Kingdoms theology is nature-grace gnostic dualism

1 min read

"Parents have primary authority for educating their children in the nontheological academic disciplines, but only secondary jurisdiction for educating them in theology  (and in whatever else Scripture teaches).... [Parents] should undertake their children's biblical and theological education ultimately under the authority of their ministers and elders."

David Van Drunen

R2K Innovator

This is astounding.

1.) Pray tell David, could you list these putative nontheological academic disciplines?

2.) Why should a parent forfeit their responsibility for their children before a ministerial corps who are largely brain-dead? Parents can mess up their children just as well as Ministers.

3.) Note, this is R2K thinking. Parents can be allowed to teach their children in the areas which have no "Word from the Lord" since they are "common" realm disciplines. However, when it comes to the grace realm, well, this realm requires the experts to teach the children God gave the parents.

4.) This is definitely a nature-grace gnostic dualism. Nature areas are not important so parents can handle that but the grace realm is really important so you need the ecclesiastic experts.

John Piper replaces the family with the church family

3 min read

"Never think of the family — the nuclear family: husband, wife, and children — as the only or the eternal or the main family with which God is concerned. The church is God’s main family on the earth. In the age to come, there will be no nuclear family because Jesus says in that age that we will “neither marry nor are given in marriage” (Matthew 22:30). The nuclear family is temporary. The eternal family is the church with God as our Father and all of us as brothers and sisters.

I want to elevate this. She didn’t mention the church, but I’m sowing the seed for her to think about it. I want to elevate the local church as the expression of God’s family for her life. That’s precisely where she should embed this child in relationships with the wider family — men, women, boys, and girls — so that the child will connect in all the varying ways that he’s going to need in order to be as rounded as he should be."~~"Ask Pastor John"

There is no OT or NT word that can mean 'nuclear family '.

Schaeffer critiqued the Enlightenment for its fact/value split where  "nature swallowed up grace." Christians have overreacted, claiming that grace swallows up nature. Eschatologically yes. Presently, no. That's why we have families and the state.

Gnostics are always trying to minimize the importance of flesh and matter and all earthly existence and relationships. The same cast of characters is teaching women that their husbands have no real authority over them, so that if he tells her to do something she doesn't want to do, the "church," meaning the elders, are to arbitrate. And of course, they teach that there are only two races, Christians and non-Christians, so that faith is all that matters, and any concerns over optimal government, borders, social bonds, marital restrictions, etc, are idolatry.

John Piper's point winds up being self refuting.

"The eternal family is the church with God as our Father and all of us as brothers and sisters"     --- this presupposes the comprehensibility of nuclear family.

Restated:  Without the earthly family, the concept of father, brother, sister, etc. are meaningless, and incomprehensible.

Restated:  The family is God's  main family on Earth without which the church "family" is incomprehensible.

The Church is both a spiritual and institutional entity on earth. It is built upon families that constitute its membership. It is a 'one and many', or a Trinitarian wholeness. Each Christian and/or family is one of the building blocks as equally ultimate to the whole, which is the Church on earth.

The future belongs to people with children

1 min read

"The future belongs to people with children, not with things. Things rust and break. But every child is a universe of possibility that reaches into eternity, connecting our memories and our hopes in a sign of God’s love across the generations. That’s what matters. The soul of a child is forever.

If you want to see the face of Europe in 100 years, barring a miracle, look to the faces of young Muslim immigrants. Islam has a future because Islam believes in children. Without a transcendent faith that makes life worth living, there’s no reason to bear children. And where there are no children, there’s no imagination, no reason to sacrifice, and no future. At least six of Europe’s most senior national leaders have no children at all. Their world ends with them. It’s hard to avoid a sense that much of Europe is already dead or dying without knowing it."~~Archbishop Charles Chaput

I don't care if they take the American flag down as long as they replace it with the Confederate flag.

Recentlly students at Hampshire College demanded that the United States flag be taken down. However, after protests, the flag was raised again. Hopefully Americans will began to see that if the Confederate flag should be taken down because it represents the Biblical institution of slavery, then the United States flag should also be taken down. The solution is for our laws to be based on the Law of God which the Confederate States of America was trying to do in part before it was invaded by the U.S.

R. J. Rushdoony on the relationship between land and immigration:

2 min read

"Because the Bible is a land-based book, and our faith tied to the earth as the Lord’s (Ps. 24:1), the question is not an academic one. For modern man, land has become a commodity and an investment, not essentially a faith inheritance. Our modern outlook thus warps our perspective. For this reason, our federal government thinks nothing of allowing in as immigrants an increasing number of people who are religiously and racially hostile to us. They see no relationship between faith and land. As a result, the United States and the Western world have embarked on a suicidal course. They reject the concept of Christendom and embrace instead the humanistic “family of man,” and thus immigration policies in the U.S. and Europe are based on myths and illusions of a destructive nature. Because neither land nor inheritance is now seen from the perspective of faith, we have problems in these spheres. The modern state sees itself as the primary owner, and hence eminent domain is basic to its life, and it therefore views itself as the primary heir with death taxes. Both a tax on the land and death taxes are anti-Biblical.

A disregard for ties to the land has been one of the most destructive forces of the twentieth century. In Africa, artificial nations were created after World War II without regard for the fact that they encompassed rival warring tribes. Artificial unions such as Yugoslavia were created after World War I, bringing together differing peoples and religious groups. All such efforts have simply created chaos and conflict. The rationalistic planners of our time are Hegelians: for them, the rational is the real, and their rational ideas become a Procrustean bed on which humanity is tortured."

Modern Churchianity replaces "love your neighbor as yourself" with "love your neighbor, hate yourself."

1 min read

Modern Churchianity replaces "love your neighbor as yourself" with "love your neighbor, hate yourself." John C. Calhoun explains here why categorical disregard for oneself must produce chaos, in the same way that pure selfishness would:

"In beings of limited reason and faculties, ... if their feelings and affections were stronger for others than for themselves, or even as strong, the necessary result would seem to be, that all individuality would be lost; and boundless and remediless disorder and confusion would ensue. For each, at the same moment, intensely participating in all the conflicting emotions of those around him, would, of course, forget himself and all that concerned him immediately, in his officious intermeddling with the affairs of all others; which, from his limited reason and faculties, he could neither properly understand nor manage. Such a state of things would, as far as we can see, lead to endless disorder and confusion, not less destructive to our race than a state of anarchy."

So, hating yourself is essentially equivalent to hating your neighbor, as the outcome is the same.

Europe and America are attacked by Jacobin propaganda over our right to exist

1 min read

Prior to the French Revolution the Jacobins put out an unrelenting stream of propaganda in which they demonized the French monarchy and the French aristocracy. The demonization process worked so well that even the King doubted his right to rule. And as a consequence of that doubt he did not take the steps necessary to defend his crown and his people. For the past century the people of every European nation have been the objects of the same demonization campaign conducted by the Jacobins against the French monarch and the French aristocrats. We have now reached the final stage of the demonization process.

Islam is a pantheistic, not a monotheistic religion

2 min read

It is not a true statement to say, "Islam is a Monotheistic religion."

The true statement is to say, "Islam claims to be a Monotheistic religion."

There is all the difference in the world between these two claims.

"The Islamic concept of Allah’s unity teaches that he alone is to be served, that he alone is to be feared. Yet the Quran commands Muslims to fear others besides Allah such as the relationships established by the womb.

Although the Quran expressly says that persons are to slave only for Allah it also allows Muslims to own or be slaves, which means that they are not slaves to Allah alone.

Part of the service rendered to Allah alone includes bowing or prostration. Allah violates his own command of worshiping none but him by commanding creatures to bow or prostrate to other creatures.

The Quran says to invoke Allah alone, whereas other texts and references allow Muslims to invoke persons besides Allah such as Muhammad!

Related to this point is the express command of the Quran that Allah alone is a Muslim’s helper and intercessor. This is contradicted by other statements which claim that there are others that help and intercede for Muslims, like Muhammad even though he is dead.

If the dead like Muhammad can help and intercede this presupposes that the dead are still conscious and can hear invocations made to them. But other passages expressly deny that the dead can hear since a barrier called Barzakh separates them, and also states that the prophets have no knowledge of the people’s response to their message.

The Quran says that there is nothing comparable to Allah, which presupposes that there is no image which can be made of him. The Islamic narrations that say that Adam was created in Allah’s image and that the black stone is a symbol of Allah since it is his hand clearly contradict this belief since they prove that Allah can be depicted and does have (a) visible representation(s)."

How Moslems take over a country and establish Sharia Law

3 min read

Pew research poll taking in countries populated by muslims.

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

United States — Muslim 0.6%

Australia — Muslim 1.5%

Canada — Muslim 1.9%

China — Muslim 1.8%

Italy — Muslim 1.5%

Norway — Muslim 1.8%

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

Denmark — Muslim 2%

Germany — Muslim 3.7%

United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%

Spain — Muslim 4%

Thailand — Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims.

They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply.

This is occurring in:

France — Muslim 8%

Philippines — Muslim 5%

Sweden — Muslim 5%

Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%

The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%

Trinidad & Tobago — Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings.

Any non-Muslim action offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections, in:

Guyana — Muslim 10%

India — Muslim 13.4%

Israel — Muslim 16%

Kenya — Muslim 10%

Russia — Muslim 15%

After reaching 20% , nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%

At 40% , nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Bosnia — Muslim 40%

Chad — Muslim 53.1%

Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60% , nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:

Albania — Muslim 70%

Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%

Qatar — Muslim 77.5%

Sudan — Muslim 70%*

After 80% , expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:

Bangladesh — Muslim 83%

Egypt — Muslim 90%

Gaza — Muslim 98.7%

Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%

Iran — Muslim 98%

Iraq — Muslim 97%

Jordan — Muslim 92%

Morocco — Muslim 98.7%

Pakistan — Muslim 97%

Palestine — Muslim 99%

Syria — Muslim 90%

Tajikistan — Muslim 90%

Turkey — Muslim 99.8%

United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace. Here there’s supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Afghanistan — Muslim 100%

Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%

Somalia — Muslim 100%

Yemen — Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.
